Info

Instructors and students can make recordings in Blackboard Class Collaborate Ultra and then view, share or download them later.  Recordings capture the audio, video, and any content that is shared during a session. Recordings also capture any real time captions or chat available during the session.

Note

Instructors are moderators in all sessions and can make recordings. When a new session is created, the default role for students and others is Participant. You will need to change the default role to Moderator in the Session Settings if students will be making recordings.

Recording

  1. Once you join the session, open the Session menu in the upper left and select Start Recording. The recording camera appears with a red dot while recording is in progress.
