In HuskyCT, a combined course does two things:
Creates a new parent course.
Merges the enrollments from all child courses into the parent course.
A combined course in HuskyCT serves no other purpose than to combine the roster of two different courses into a single course. This structure looks like this.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it possible to combine two different class types for a single course (e.g., Lab and Lecture, Lecture and Discussion)?
No. Because enrollments for the different types of sections are the same between types, you cannot combine a lab and lecture section for a single course.
Does combining sections give me extra functionality?
No. Combining sections only merges two or more class rosters into a single shell in HuskyCT.
If my class is cross-listed in PeopleSoft, is this association set up automatically?
No. Course combines must be specifically requested using the HuskyCT Course Combine Form.
