Ensuring a Macro Survives the Conversion

Remove macros from lists before the conversion in order for the converter to understand them. Highlight the macro and click the list button to remove them from the list. Remove extra spacing to tidy up. If you do not remove them from the list, you will need to recreate them after conversion.

Adding New Macros

When adding a new macro to the page, you’ll notice that it is placed at the bottom of the section/page. To work around this, place temporary Heading 2 text right below where you want the macro to be.

Embedded videos

In the past, we used the HTML macro to embed videos on our pages; however, however this macro is not supported in the Cloud editorRefined (our new theme). Instead, we will use iFrame. This guide will show steps for a page that previous previously had an HTML macro , but (you can find the info from the video’s source page (Kaltura) if needed).

Before converting the page to the Cloud editor, you will need to grab some information from the HTML macro.

Within the HTML macro, grab the video URL and paste it into a NotePad/Word doc for safe keepingsafekeeping. You only need what is in-between src=” and “ width. Notice that the whole segment is within quotation marks; that is what we need.

...

Convert the page into the Cloud Editor. Insert an iFramemacro and paste the video’s new URL into the URL box. Set the width to 608 and height to 400.
