In HuskyCT, a combined course does two things:

  1. Creates a new parent course.

  2. Merges the enrollments from all child courses into the parent course.

A combined course in HuskyCT serves no other purpose than to combine the roster of two different courses into a single course. This structure looks like this:.Image Removed

The above image shows two courses , (PP-3098 SECH01 and PP-5363 SECH90) merged into a single parent course.

After the course combine, students will continue to see the child section that originally enrolled in. Only instructors see the parent course. For this reason, HuskyCT admins generally discourage changing the title of the combined section, as it has no effect on what the students see.
