This page is for instructors who wish to customize their course by changing the course image displayed in the "All Courses" page.

Info

The course image is displayed in the "All Courses" page, not within the course itself. If you would like to change the image that displays on the course entry page, please see Changing the Course Banner Image.

There are two ways to change your course image.

From “Courses”:

  1. Open the Courses page in HuskyCT.

  2. Ensure your course view is in the ‘grid’ mode

  3. Click the three dots next to your course

  4. Click Edit course image.

  1. Upload New Image. You can also click Clear Image to reset it to a HuskyCT default image.

  2. Select the image you wish to add and click Open.

  2. Position and zoom into your image as desired. Once complete, click Done

  3. You may also optionally provide a description for screen readers from this menu, or mark the image as decorative.

From Course Management:

  1. Navigate to Course Management in your HuskyCT course. Under Customization, click on Teaching Style

  2. From here, you have the options:

    1. Delete this banner - This will delete and replace your current banner with a HuskyCT default

    2. New Banner Image - Click on Browse Local Files to select an image from your computer as your banner image. Images must be a minimum of 1200 x 240 pixels in size.

    3. Banner Alt Text - Optionally, you may add a description for the image so that screen readers can describe the image to students that require visual aid.

  3. Once complete, click Submit

After completing your changes, HuskyCT may require you to refresh the website to see the changes take place.
