Students, faculty, and staff can live-stream meetings and webinars to other web platforms, like Kaltura, YouTube, and Facebook. The livestream can begin, end, and restart whenever you choose, but can only stream to one platform at a time.
For best functionality, use the installed version of Webex instead of the Web

Navigate to YouTube and sign in with your Google Account. You may sign in with either your UConn account or personal account
In the top-right corner, there is the button to add media to YouTube represented by a camera with a plus sign inside of it. Press this button. Click Go live. You may have to verify your identity to YouTube by receiving a verification code. after verifying your account, you will be brought to a new web page, use the address bar to navigate back to youtube.com. Once you are back at the YouTube homepage, click on the camera icon again, then Go live again.
You will be given the message: It takes 24 hours to activate your account for live streaming. Once activated, you can go live instantly. Return tomorrow to continue.
Live Streaming your Webex Meeting or WebinarNavigate to YouTube and sign in with your Google Account. You may sign in with either your UConn account or personal accountIn the top-right corner, there is the button to add media to YouTube represented by a camera with a plus sign inside of it. Press this button. Click Go live YouTube will ask for permission to use your Webcam and Microphone. Be sure to allow this. In the top-left, you will see that "Webcam" is currently selected. Click on Stream instead. Fill out the information of the Stream then click CREATE STREAM. Begin your Webex Meeting or Webinar. Click on the ellipsis button in the bottom row of buttons then click Start live streaming. Choose Other streaming services. Type in “YouTube Live.” Copy and paste the Stream URL from YouTube into the "Target stream link" box in the Webex window. Copy and paste the Stream key from YouTube into the "Target stream key" box in the Webex window. Be sure to choose 1920x1080 for the resolution. Click the arrow in the top-right corner to find the YouTube Stream Share link. Change streaming layouts if you would like to alter your livestream layout. Click the Start streaming button to connect Webex. This will not start the Youtube stream yet. You will soon see a preview of your Webex Meeting/Webinar in the top-left video player on the YouTube page. Once you see your Webex in the preview, you may then begin your YouTube stream by clicking GO LIVE in the top-right corner.
Monitoring the Stream on YouTubeDo not navigate away from the screen from the previous section of this guide. From there, you can monitor and end the Stream. You may view the analytics of the stream, edit the information, and end the stream from this page.
