This article is for instructors seeking information regarding using Respondus to publish questions to HuskyCT, and will provide instructions on how to do so.

Before publishing questions to HuskyCT, the server connection to HuskyCT must be set up. To do thisFor more information, see Settings for Server Connection to HuskyCT.

Open Respondus.
Click on Preview + Publish.

Click on Publish.

Click on Publish Wizard.

Select either the Publish to single course or Batch Publish to multiple courses option.
Verify that the blackboard server is set to the profile created for Blackboard connection.
Click Next.
Choose the course (or courses) to which you wish to publish.
Select Create new Exam, Replace Existing Exam, Create new Pool, or Replace existing Pool.

2. Replace existing Exam: Replaces an exam

2. Replace existing Pool: Replaces an existing pool in your HuskyCT course.
You can then choose
Choose whether or not to Link Exam to Content Area and make it available.

If this option is not checked, the exam will have to be manually deployed

. Information on how to do this can be found here. If this option is checked, you are given the choice of which content area to deploy the exam in. The exam will be unavailable to students at the start, so the test settings must be edited to make the test available. For information on editing the test settings,

see Setting Test Options.
If Link Exam to Content Area and make available is checked, choose the content area to which you intend to deploy the test.

Click Next. The Completed successfully message will then
