This is a guide on how to Faculty, students, and staff can join a personal Webex Room from a Video Conferencing System that is built into a UConn Room .
Ask by the provided instructions below. Users should ask the host to follow this guide so that they may supply you with provide the link to dial from your the UConn Room.

Setting Up a UConn Room with the TouchPanel

  1. If

    Tap the TouchPanel

  2. Tap again on the white UCONN screen.

  3. Select Video Conference from the

  4. On the Dial Keypad screen, tap on the Letter Keypad button, located below the numbers.

Finding your Room Connection Information

Have your Host follow these instructions if they do not know their Personal Room join address.

  1. Go to webex.uconn.edu.

    3. Enter your UConn NetID to sign in.

  2. Your Webex homepage will displayYou will be brought to your Webex home page. Click the More ways to join link under the header for you personal roomyour name for your Personal Room information.

    1. A context menu will appear. In the section Join by video system, there is an address after the word “Dial”“Dial.” This is the link that the host will need to share with the participants so that they may dial it in the UConn video conferencing system to join the Personal Room (example: netID@uconn-cmr.Webex.com ).
