Webex Room, here are a few simple checks you can conduct on your side.

  1. Check your Webex settings.

    1. While in the call, check that you have the correct combination of microphone and speaker for the Webex call

  1. Click on the “More” button (button with three dots vertical on it)
  2. Click Speaker, microphone, and camera
  3. Choose the camera/microphone combination that is appropriate 
    1. While in this menu, below the microphone choice, you will see live feedback of the audio level that your microphone is picking up

On rare occasions, the microphone may be picking up your voice but also altering how it sounds. If your voice sounds high-pitched (“like a chipmunk”), please unplug your microphone (or webcam/mic combo unit) and plug it back in. If your microphone is plugged into a dock or USB hub, try plugging your microphone directly into your computer, bypassing the external USB hub.
