Approved departmental student workers may enter their availability in HuskyTime. (This includes ITS Technology Support Center student workers.  HuskyTime is the ITS TSC student time tracking system.)

  1. After logging in to Husky Time, click on the Schedule menu.

  2. Click Available. There will be a calendar; if you are available and willing to work a shift, add that availability in.

  3. Fit your availability as close to the shift templates as possible.

    1. When adding availability, please enter your availability based on the shift templates. If the actual time you can work does not fit into a template we provided, put your availability into the shift that fits closest. We can work with you if have a class before or after a shift and need to leave early or start late.

    2. Please only add your availability if you can commit to at least 2 hours of the shift.

      • If you are available 12:30 pm – 3 pm (when the shift is 11:00 am – 2 pm), enter your availability as 12:30 pm – 3 pm.

      • If you are available 10:30 am – 3 pm (shifts being at 8 am – 11:00 am and 11:00 am – 2:00 pm), enter your availability as 11:30 am – 3 pm because you cannot make at least 2 hours of the morning shift.

      • Shift times for the 2022 Spring Semester are listed below:

        Monday – Thursday
        8:00am -11:00am
        11:00am -2:00pm
        2:00pm-5:00pm4:00pm-7:00pm Advanced & Lead Students only.

  4. Click the appropriate time and day on the calendar to add your availability for the semester. Do not use the “Next Day” check box; this is used for shifts that include working into the next day (overnight). Select Add and your availability will be added to the calendar.

  5. Add your availability for the remainder of the week, fitting availability into shift templates as closely as possible.
