After you initiate the EventWebinar, even if there are attendees in the EventWebinar, you may begin a Practice Session that will include all the Panelists and exclude the Attendees. Once the Practice Session has started, all Participants will have a dark yellow banner across the top of their Event Webinar window informing them that the Practice Session is in progress. Panelists are free to talk and share webcams and content without the Attendees seeing or hearing. Attendees will only see the Host's profile picture, as shown below:

The Practice Session is not a separate Webex session. The "Practice Session" implements a temporary barrier between the Panelists and the Attendees so the Panelists may converse in private. It does not change the functionality of the
EventWebinar.
Sharing Content
Content sharing will stop when you enter and leave the Practice Session.
You may begin sharing content during the Practice Session and cease the sharing during the Practice session, and the Attendees will
be none the wisernot know.

Create a Welcome Screen to let your Attendees know what is happening - DO NOT USE THIS SECTIONWhen the Event Webinar enters the Practice Session, every Participant regardless of Role, will see the yellow banner at the top of the window. However, it may not be immediately obvious to the Attendees what exactly is going on. The Attendees will hear complete silence since the Panelists are muted; this can lead to confusion or worry. Instead, continue reading to learn how to create a welcoming screen. Here is an example that you are free to use: Welcome Screen PDF
