If you are using Google Chrome on a UConn provided Windows laptop, this extension should be installed and enabled in Google Chrome by default. Navigate to chrome://extensions/ to verify “Microsoft Single Sign On” is listed.

Installing the Extension

  1. Open Google Chrome and navigate to Microsoft Single Sign-On Extension

  2. Click Add to Chrome

  3. Click Add extension

    The extension is now active and will keep you signed into Microsoft 365 web services upon your next login

  4. Click on the extension via the “puzzle piece icon” to the right of the Chrome address bar.

  5. You will be prompted to login to Microsoft 365, and the extension will retain your login credentials. Unmanaged devices are still subject to the one-hour timeout policy.
