Definition/Usage

Double Major is a term used to describe a student who is actively pursuing multiple degrees within the same school or collegeone degree in two majors.

Example

A double major student will have two active academic plans (majors) within one academic program.  For example, a student can major in Economics and Political Science within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (UCLAS).  The second major will be identified with the numeral 2 as the first character in the academic plan code.
