Cisco Webex

Webex is a conferencing tool that you can use to host and attend meetings, webinars, remote lectures, and more. You can record Webex meetings for future viewing, share files during the meeting, and group participants in up to 100 breakout sessions.

Participants can join meetings in Webex with a meeting code or meeting link. Anyone with a link or code can join the meeting, even if they don’t have a Webex account or are external to the UConn community.

Blackboard Collaborate

Blackboard Collaborate is used by instructors as a remote teaching tool. Instructors may host virtual class sessions, post recorded lectures, create interactive polls, and more.

If an instructor uses Blackboard Collaborate for a course, you can access it from the left sidebar menu of the course page in HuskyCT. Not every instructor will use this teaching tool.
