With Kaltura, users can upload, create, edit, and share videos. To best utilize this tool in HuskyCT faculty can create videos to aid with class content. The following article will go over how to add and embed Kaltura Media in Ultra Course View.

Adding Kaltura to Course Content
Open your HuskyCT Ultra Course.
In the Course Content section, select the Build Content button, which is indicated by the “+” sign.

From the drop-down list, select Content Market.

Under Institution Tools, scroll down and select Kaltura Embed Media 1.3.

From your Kaltura Media list, locate the media you want to add to the course. Then click Embed.

The video will now appear in the Course Content area with the Kaltura logo.

Embedding Kaltura Video in a Document
In the Course Content, select the Build Content button, which is indicated by the “+” sign.
From the drop-down list, select Create.
From Course Content Items, select Document.
From the Content options, select Add Content.
Select the “+” sign, and then choose Content Market.

Under Institution Tools, select Kaltura Embed Media 1.3. (This tool appears further down in the selection list.)

Select Embed next to the video which you wish to add to the course.

6. The video will now appear in the Course Content area.

When prompted, select Insert.
Select Save.

Embedding Kaltura Media in other course items:
Additionally, you are able to embed Kaltura Media in a multitude of other platforms such as: Discussions, Assignments, and Announcements. In order to do this, navigate to the plus icon as shown below. Follow steps 5-9 from above to embed.
