Ultra Conversion needs to be undertaken is for upcoming courses only. Original courses from the current or previous academic terms will remain unaltered in their “Original” state and instructors will continue to have access to them indefinitely.

Overview

This method is much easier than the name suggests. Using this method, Instructors will copy over entire folders/modules or selected course items from the Original version into their blank Ultra course.

Step 1: Decide the Organizational Structure

With the Manual Rebuild method, a good starting point is to decide the organizational folder/module structure for your course in the Ultra course.

In Original, the organizational structure of courses was built into the left side menu, with Course Content commonly containing most or all of the content organization within

  • In Ultra, “Course Content” is now the main page, and Learning modules and folders are added to that.

  • If all of the content in your original course was contained within Course Content without additional folders structure, you can replicate this structure.
