Bulk Conversion OverviewThis method will copy copies and convert converts all course content, files, links, materials, folders, tools, discussions, assessments, and Grade Center columns from the Original version of a course into a new Ultra version. Depending on course complexity or folder depth, Blackboard or 3rd Party tools used, this method can transfer over elements which may be problematic and require varying degrees of clean-up or reorganization. If your Original Course has a very simple design and does not contain a wide variety of tools, (ie, there are only folders, files, and assignments) - Bulk Conversion may be a perfectly good option for youthe easiest option for you. However, this process would also copy over any unused course items from the Original including un-deployed tests, Question pools, hidden grade center columns, archived pandemic-era content etc.
🛑 In sum, depending on course complexity, folder depth, 3rd Party tools use, bulk conversion will copy over course items which may be problematic and require varying degrees of clean-up and/or reorganization. Requesting Bulk ConversionTo request your Original Course be Bulk converted to Ultra, complete this online request form. In the Source Course - list the Original version details  In the Target Course, select Ultra Course View and list the course details for the converted version.
