You will have the opportunity to opt in to have your University of Connecticut email address forward mail to a personal email account after graduating. Any email sent to the UConn address is automatically forwarded to this personal inbox. Information about the forwarding service is available here: Alumni Forwarding Service

Microsoft 365

Before your NetID is deactivated, you must transfer data Students lose access to all 365 apps (Word, Excel, OneDrive, etc.) when they graduate. After graduating, you will receive an email with a timeline of how long you have access to your OneDrive in order to download files you wish to keep to a personal storage solution. Files stored in OneDrive and SharePoint will not be available after your NetID becomes inactive. If you have the chance, ITS recommends you browse your files and download files/take note of files you wish to keep before your graduation.

HuskyCT

After you graduate, you will continue to have access to HuskyCT until your NetID is deactivated. During this time period, you will be listed as an “inactive student.”
