Using the UC Events Calendar Widget

To create a new RSS Feed, first navigate to https://events.uconn.edu/ and select the calendars calendar(s) you’d like to add in the Find Events section on the right hand side (you can select multiple).

With the calendars calendar(s) selected, note the content in the address bar and copy all the text after “groups/”. For instance, with the URL of https://events.uconn.edu/day/groups/Graduate%20School%20-%20Events%7CGraduate%20School%20-%20Theses%20and%20Dissertation%20Defense, copy just the “Graduate%20School%20-%20Events%7CGraduate%20School%20-%20Theses%20and%20Dissertation%20Defense” part.

You can only have one calendar shortcode on a page. Any additional shortcodes you add will be ignored by the system.
Linking to the Current Month of Your Calendar
To link to the current month, week, or day of your calendar, you should follow the format below.
https://events.uconn.edu/ + [day | week | month] + /groups/ +the name of calendar(s)
For instance, for a view of events for the current week for the “Early College Experience” calendar, the link would be
https://events.uconn.edu/month/groups/Early%20College%20Experience
To create a view for multiple calendars, follow the directions above and copy the names from the address bar. The result for “Early College Experience” and “Education Abroad” might look something like
https://events.uconn.edu/month/groups/Early%20College%20Experience%7CEducation%20Abroad
