To request a laptop you must fill out this web form : https://operations.stamford.uconn.edu/forms/caps-laptop-loan/ to create a ticket.

Once this is done, your loaner request ticket will be sent off for approval. Once approved, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment through the ticketing system. Appointments will be held in the first floor of the Jeremy Richard Library at the Stamford ITS Help Desk. If no one is down there at the time you arrive, call 203-251-9599 and you will reach someone.

No shows Failing to arrive at the confirmed scheduled time will result in the request being closed. You will be given one opportunity to respond to re-open the ticket and reschedule an appointment. After that, the ticket will be closed permanently. You will need to submit another a new ticket and go through the approval process again.

You are responsible for returning the laptop by the due date. Alternatively, if you wish to extend the deadline, you will need to make the request to do this so before the due date via the ticket. Stamford ITS will attempt to contact you a week prior to your laptop due date. Laptop returns will be handled at the Stamford ITS Help Desk on the first floor of the Jeremy Richard Library. If no one is there, you can call 203-251-9599 to have someone come down to collect your laptop. Returns should be completed between the hours of 10 am and 4pm Monday-Friday.
