1. Navigate to lms.uconn.edu. This is the shortlink to HuskyCT.

2. Sign in with your NetID and NetID password if prompted.

3. Click on your name in the left-hand menu.

   

4. Hover your cursor over your name, pronunciation, email, or pronouns and then click on the pencil icon. All these edit buttons open the same menu.

5. Within this Contact Information popup,

   1. You may add a phonetic spelling of your name in the Pronunciation text field.

   2. You may click on Record name pronunciation and use your microphone to record your own voice speaking your name. You may click on the Select your pronouns drop-down to select your pronouns from the list. You may select more than one item in the list.

   3. Notes:

      1. If you wish, you may continue further down this popup to continue filling in information but remember that you are not required to fill in any of these fields.

      1. The Additional Name field should not be used as it does not appear in your Name Card. If you would like to change your name, please follow this guide to edit your NetID: Changing Your Chosen Name in UConn Directories

      2. You may set your Pronouns here, however these too will be included in the NetID system early 2023.

6. Click Done to save your changes.
