If your iOS device has not been previously set up, power on the device. If your iOS device has already been set up, format the iOS device before continuing.
Select your preferred language from the list of languages.
Select United States from the list of countries.
If prompted to set up with another device via Quick Start, select Set Up Manually.
If you are on the UConn network and are not the end-user, connect to UCONN-GUEST. If you are on the UConn network and are the end user, connect to UCONN-SECURE. If you are not on the UConn network, connect to your local wireless network from the list of available networks.
The Remote Management screen will appear. Press Next.
Sign in with your NetID and Password.
Enable Location Services.
Note: Enabling Location Services is important because UConn uses it to manage your iPad or iPhone.
