If you are trying to install Webex and connect your installation to our UConn system (by signing in with a UConn email address), there is a chance you will run into this issue. Please follow this guide to fix the issue.

  1. Close Cisco Webex Meetings if you have it open.

  2. Open the Start Menu and type in "Control Panel." Open the Control Panel app.

  3. Click on Network and Internet

  4. Click on Internet Options.

  5. Go to the Advanced tab.

  6. Press the Reset button. This will only reset your Microsoft Edge browser's settings; do not worry about personalization in other browsers. Do not check the Delete personal settings button, and then press Reset in the popup window.

  7. Once the Reset popup closes, you will see that it also closes the Internet Options box. Go back to your Network and Internet window and reopen Internet Options. Go back to the Advanced tab.

  8. Check the TLS 1.2 box.

  9. Click Apply then Okay.
