This article is for faculty, staff, and students who have an active Office 365 account that would like to share their desktop or a specific app while in a meeting.When in a Teams call or meting you can share your screen for others to see.
Sharing Your Screen
Select the Share Content icon. In the browser version of Teams this is in the top right. In the desktop application the icon is at the bottom of the screen.
The content sharing menu will open.
Select the type of sharing you want
Share a Screen
Click Screen to share your entire screen. All content on the screen that you are able to see will also be seen by those in the meeting.Share a Window
Click Window to share a certain window. Only content from the window you select will be viewable by those in the meeting. While using this option, some menu screens or additional windows of the same application will not be shared.Share a File From Office 365
Click Browse OneDrive to select a file from your OneDrive or SharePoint account for those in the meeting to view and edit. Your most recent files will be recommended directly in the “Share Content” menu.

Sharing with Sound
Click Include Computer Sound if you want others to hear the sound from your applications (such as sharing videos or music).
Select the Presenter Mode you want. By default, members of the meeting will
Select the Share content icon in the top bar.
Select the screen you wish to share from the list.
If you would like to share an individual program instead of your screen, select the desired program from under the Window heading.
As long as you are sharing, there will be a red outline around what is being shared.
You can stop sharing at any point by clicking on the Stop sharing icon on the top bar.
