This article is for faculty, students, and staff seeking information regarding Outlook's Clutter feature. The Clutter feature in Outlook analyzes your behavior and determines the emails you are most likely to ignore. It then moves these emails to a clutter folder that you can reference later. This article will describe how to toggle this feature on and off.

After January 31, 2020 (Microsoft) will no longer move any messages to the Clutter folder in the mailbox, and (Microsoft) will convert the existing Clutter folder to a regular user folder. (Microsoft) also won’t do anything to the messages in the Clutter folder, or remove the folder. (Microsoft) will stop sending digest notifications, and (Microsoft) will remove the options in OWA, the API’s and the admin tools.
