We are writing to provide you with resources and guidance for assessments this semester. We have developed a resource page to help you align your assessment strategy with your overall teaching strategy. We also wanted to encourage those of you who are accustomed to using Scantron to consider using contactless alternative online methods that can be consistently delivered for students attending remotely and in-person.
ITS will offer Scantron self-service scanning of paper bubble sheets this semester, but due to safety precautions, availability and support are greatly limited. Please note:
- The Scantron stations are available when Homer Babbidge Library is open, and you do not need a reservation. The library is operating on a reduced schedule.
- The ITS Technology Support Center will be temporarily located near the main entrance of the library. Consequently, no staff will be on-hand to support use of the Scantron.
- Supplies will be available for self-service cleaning before and after use. ITS will also regularly clean the equipment.
