  1. Navigate to ‘Accounting’.  
  2. Click on Activities 
  3. Select Internal Billing.

  4. In the ‘Income’ section, complete the following fields:  
    • Chart

    • Account Number  
    • Revenue Object Code

  5. Click the Add button.  
  6. In the ‘Expense’ section, complete the following fields:

  7. Click the Add button.  
  8. Complete the Items’ tab, if you wish. You are not required to do so, however.

    The Items tab can be used to identify stockroom items, for example, However, it does not validate against the Accounting Lines total. 


  9. If you choose not to complete the Items tab, use the Explanation field on the Document Overview tab instead, so that the customer knows why they are being charged. You can also add an attachment if one is available. Internal Billings valued $5,000 and up must have an attachment for Accounting Office approval.
