Captioning Individual Videos

To caption individual videos, 

  1. Log into HuskyCT.
  2. Click on My Kaltura Media. Alternatively, or go
    1. Navigate to Mediaspace
    , click

    2. Click on Guest
    and click "
    1. Click My Media

  3. Click on the title of the video that to which you wish to add captioning to.
  4. Below the video on the right-hand side, click “Actions” and select “Caption and Enrich” Actions. 

  5. Select Caption and Enrich.

    Note

    The “Mechanical Mechanical 70 to 80%” option 80% option is the only option currently configured, and is free of charge.  Be sure to You should edit the captions after they 're are created so that they 're are ADA compliant, which is close to 99% accurate.


  6. Click on "Submit" to  to confirm your selection and the . The captions should be added within 30 minutes.  You will receive an email when they're complete.

Captioning Multiple Videos

To caption multiple videos, 

  1. Log in to HuskyCT and click .

    3. Click My Media to log in.
  3. Click on box to the left of the video(s) that to which you wish to add captioning to.
  4. At the upper right click “Actions” and select “Caption and Enrich” Actions.

  5. Select Caption and Enrich.
