- Go to cellular.uconn.edu
- Fill out and submit the mobile broadband form
- User will need to specify if they need a global hotspot for international travel
- Department head will need to approve before filling out form
- Once requested, hotspot will be received within 1 week to 10 days depending on carrier (Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint)
- Most hotspots are either Verizon or AT&T
- User can request which carrier they’d prefer
- If a hotspot is no longer needed, the department will hold on to the device and submit a disconnect service on cellular.uconn.edu (There are no contract end dates so service can be disconnected at any time.)
